Women & Film: Lee

Program

Women & Film is a series of films that highlight films with a focus on women's lives and situation in society as well as the work of female filmmakers.

We offer coffee after the film from around 4:00 p.m. Proceeds go to the Women's House in Örebro or other activities that promote the situation of women. During the Covid-19 epidemic, violence in close relationships has increased. Anyone who wants to make a contribution to Kvinnohuset can send their donation to 123 157 92 75.

As before, one of the organizers will present their business.

A little about the film In Lee, Kate Winslet plays pioneering American photojournalist Lee Miller. Determined to document the truth about Germany's Nazi regime, and despite prejudice against female correspondents, Lee captures some of the most important images of World War II.
