A night of drinking about death threats and glitter with Linnéa Claeson

Värnamo Zontaklubb welcomes you to an evening of soup and lecture with support from the Inger and Sixten Norhed Foundation.
Linnéa Claeson is the evening's speaker. In her lecture, Linnéa will talk about the challenges and threats she has faced in her role as a human rights defender and a woman, the tools she has developed, and why she is convinced that we can and need to be involved in creating a kinder and braver world.
To register for this year's Zoppkväll, see November 25th on the page: Event Värnamo | See our event calendar | Gummifabriken. Deadline for registration is November 20th.
In addition to lecturing, Linnéa is a program host, lawyer, two-time U-handball world champion and human rights defender. Her commitment to human rights has led her to war and conflict zones, refugee camps and vulnerable areas where she has primarily devoted herself to democracy-promoting work and humanitarian aid.
For her diligent work for human rights, she received the Swedish UN Association's award and for her way of making complicated issues understandable to the public, she has been named Lawyer of the Year.
