Välkommen till Gäve Zontaklubb! Klubben bildades för över 75 år sedan och har idag ca 25 medlemmar. Vi träffas vanligtvis den första onsdagen i varje månad med uppehåll i juli och augusti. Du är välkommen att gästa oss på våra klubbmöten!

What I Thought Was Love with Anna Lindman
November 25th is the day when the UN calls on the whole world to pay attention and demonstrate against violence against women.
As a bright and optimistic color, orange represents a world free from violence against women and girls.
I samverkan med Agnes kulturhus bjöd Gävle Zontaklubb in till ett författarsamtal med Anna Lindman.
Journalisten och författaren Anna Lindman berättade om sin bok ”Det jag trodde var kärlek”!

Gävle Zonta Club
- Contributes to Zonta International and the Zonta Foundation for Women
- Has local events around March 8th with interesting lectures and panel discussions focusing on violence against older women
- Get involved in the ZontaSaysNo campaign (UN's 16 days of activism) where we try to influence by informing about the Violence Pyramid and Zonta's activities
- Since 1999, awards scholarships to outstanding female students at the three municipal high schools: Vasa, Borgar and Polhemsskolan.
