Women & Film: The Girl with the Needle

Women & Film is a series of films that highlight films with a focus on women's lives and situation in society as well as the work of female filmmakers.

We offer coffee after the film from around 4:00 p.m. Proceeds go to the Women's House in Örebro or other activities that promote the situation of women. During the Covid-19 epidemic, violence in close relationships has increased. Anyone who wants to make a contribution to Kvinnohuset can send their donation to 123 157 92 75.

A little about the film:Magnus von Horn's Cannes competition The Girl with the Needle is set after the First World War and is about a young woman who comes into contact with a secret adoption agency that adopts the unwanted children of poor women.
