Emma Filbey is a sociologist and has worked with issues related to men's violence against women for many years. In particular, she has worked with violence in intimate relationships, honor-related violence and oppression, prostitution and human trafficking for sexual purposes. Today she works as Area Process Leader in Örebro municipality in the Brickebacken district in what is called Partnership. It is part of Örebro municipality's work with residential areas where many residents live with various socio-economic challenges.
