Marie-Louise Danielsson-Tham is veterinary medicine doctor and received his doctorate at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) with a thesis on salmonella in sewage and sludge. She was associate professor and professor in food hygiene at SLU.  In 2006 she became a professor of food hygiene at Grythytte Academy. She has authored several textbooks on food hygiene and has also written on food microbiology and food poisoning. She has become known to the public as the host of Clean house on TV4 and for Sweden's cleaner on SVT.
