Sweden and Latvia at the forefront as donors to Zonta

Of Zonta's 32 districts worldwide, District 21, which consists of Zonta Clubs in Sweden and Latvia, managed to place itself in the top five in February in terms of fundraising for the Zonta Foundation for Women.

The district's fundraising goal for the period 2020–2022 is USD 180 per member, which means a total of approximately SEK 2.2 million.

On February 28, Swedish and Latvian Zonta members had contributed a total of almost SEK 525,000. This means that we as a district are well in line with the goal for the entire two-year period so far.

The district's Zonta Clubs account for 75 percent of the funds collected so far. The remaining part comes from individual Zonta members, more and more of whom choose to become monthly donors.
